Warren Troup v. U.S.A., 821 F.2nd 194 (3rdCir.1987).  In Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Action, Third Circuit determines jurisdictional issue regarding definition of “coal.” (A case of first impression.)

Stoddard v. Davidson, 513 A.2nd 419 (Pa.Super.1986).  In negligence action, Superior Court determines that automobile driver may recover injuries suffered after running over corpse in roadway. (A case of first impression.)

Greenberg v. Pacenta, 606 F.Supp. 189 (E.D.Pa.1985).  In § 1983 civil rights action involving police officer, federal District Court determines that dismissed city police officer denied procedural due process.

Dobson v. WBRE-TV, Inc., 500 A.2nd 1226 (Pa.Super.1985).   Trial court determines whether challenged publication is subject to defamatory meaning.
